Purchasing Services is a section of Legal & Democratic Services Department based at Aberdeen City Council, Unit 2, Whitemyres Avenue, Aberdeen AB16 6HQ.

Incorporated within the Unit is the Council's Central Warehouse, the Whitemyres Centre.

The prime duties are to provide a professional and cost effective purchasing and supply service to Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils. These services are also used by Grampian Police and other public sector and related bodies.

Purchasing Services efforts are focused towards satisfying the requirements of Services through consortia and corporate purchasing arrangements to enhance joined-up working and maximising buying power, whilst utilising strategic approaches in order to save money on quality goods and services.
